The undergraduate program for public administration involves the implementation of public policy by civil servants within an official government’s executive framework. Public administrators manage nearly every aspect of public service at the federal, state, and local levels, offering the opportunity to help shape the future. SFA is one of only five Texas universities that offer an undergraduate program in public administration and graduates of the program will have the  necessary credentials for careers in government, public agencies, and non-profit organizations.

The undergraduate public administration program requires a total of 30 designated hours in the department with 21 core course hours and 9 hours of elective courses.
